Lubango Vlog: Manly Wade Wellman

I've made a vlog about Manly Wade Wellman as an introduction to how his background is similar to mine. I hope this is an effective first effort at putting down my impressions of Wellman's work.

A Cornucopia of New Marvel Appendix Entries!

I've recently written four more entires for my old pals at the Marvel Appendix!

First, I did up entries for the Amazons from Conan the Barbarian and the man-eating Kulamtu tree. I'm no Conan expert but I did a fair bit of research for this one because one of the Amazons is called Nzinga, after the famous Angolan leader.

My other two offerings have an even more tenuous link to Angola - The Hooded Horror is a 1940s Captain America villain created by Manly Wade Wellman, the pulp writer -- it's the only definitive story he created for Marvel Comics. However, Wellman is suspected to have written another story featuring the villain George Brinner, so I wrote up an entry on him too. Enjoy!
